Fit-Wellness!!
You read that right! Fit-Wellness™ is the harmonious balance of Fitness and Wellness, both of which go hand in hand. We all have our ideas of what fitness should be, and the most important aspect of that is actually redefining “Fitness” as “Movement”. Any type of movement, from walking to weight-lifting, contributes to the foundation of our overall Wellness, and so I’ve combined the two to stress the importance of both.
This multi-dimensional word represents our mind and body, connecting the external with the internal, wellness is something to be strived for and not a by-product of striving to survive. When we emphasize wellness in all of these aspects of our lives it starts to open paths that might not have been as clear before… mental, physical, social, financial, spiritual, environmental, and work, are all connected and influence one another greatly.
As we learn to balance our rapidly evolving society, including the distractions that come along with it, it’s important to emphasize SELF! Haven’t you already experienced that moment when you wanted to perform, but for one reason or another, just couldn’t? When you stop and recognize those reactions and responses, you’ll realize that they all stem from an ACTION, and that action from a BEHAVIOR/HABIT.
